Wiping the water from her brow, Eilantha observed the cleansing rites. She was set to go to the market, and as a requirement of her Dark Mother she was expected to cleanse her mind of all impurities lest they be cast onto the pitiful Others. For that was one of the greatest sins; Impertinence.
The reflection that gazed wide-eyed back at her was a beauty to be beholden. Yet, that beauty was deadly, much like the snakes that threat their bodies over the Ancient land. Venom was her defence and woe to ye who put up her defence.
The reason for her journey into the markets was a trivial one at best. She wished to collect some plants for her balcony garden. Her's was the only of its' sort in Ahtarrah. A lovely room that branched out onto a balcony that was simple riddled with flora. Occasionally Eilantha would stumble across some animal that had flown, or sometimes it was thrown, into her garden. One such creature she'd kept, it was only a babe when it had happened upon her little paradise. A mythical creature it was, a Griffon. Back then it had been a little white ball or fluff with brown speckling it's back. Now however, Hushai was a full grown male with an arching back of black stripes and the rest of his body being white. He was known as one of the legendary Zebral Griffon, a specie thought extinct until dear Hushai had come along.
Thinking about the large bird-like predator always seemed to bring him to her garden, where he stood now in all his vested glory.
"Dear Hushai, come in,"
Creatures with minds that exceeded a humans deserved to be spoken to in a mature, adult way. Eilantha had learnt she could speak to him only days after she'd first found him, so he had learnt the mind language of the humans.
Hello dear Eilantha, a journey I shall accompany you on.
It was not a request and Eilantha knew it. She nodded her head in acceptance, at least no foolish robber would attempt to take what was not theirs.
And so with a Griffon by her side and an Emerald-crested staff in her hand, black robes taunt against her shapely figure, she made her way into the corridor, hoping she would not have to face anyone today.

“Hahaha…I think I’m lost!”
Elizabeth laughed happily, walking down the corridors of the Ni-Terat’s temple. The fair looking warrior-priest seemed positively interested, however, looking around contently. This was certainly not where she wished to end up! But Banur’s Vested Guardian didn’t mind too much, having always been one for adventure. This whole place was foreign to her; Elizabeth had never been in Ni-Terat’s temple nor ever considered it. But upon seeing all the darkly clad ladies in tight black suits, Elizabeth reconsidered that thought completely.
“Oh, what impure thoughts,” Elizabeth continued to laugh to herself, not ashamed of her noise, “I’ll certainly punish myself for that later.”
After some walking, Elizabeth had finally come across something incredibly odd! The white clad woman brought her fists up in a girlish surprise seeing such an odd creature just wandering about! She stayed a cautious distance away from it and the girl beside it, who was certainly very appealing to the eye alone, and circled it like an idiot at the festival.
“I’m impressed,” After some silence, Elizabeth spoke to the gorgeous priestess, “I did not know there was a temple here that had such interesting beasts and beautiful women! Banur said that I would do best to stay out of trouble and just go shopping, but I don’t believe in accidents, so this must be his doing.”
This person seemed to be overly talkative, but somewhat fun in a way.
“What temple be you from, my lovely lady?” Elizabeth flashed a brilliant grin. “I am Elizabeth Ashforge, Vested Guardian of Banur.”

Eilantha's eyes shot up in unkindlier surprise, of which she hid as soon as she realised she'd been showing it. The... Female that was speaking to her in very buoyant tones. The attire of the she-guardian was interesting in the least, but it took a lot to surprise Eilantha, she'd seen a lot in her time.
"Dear Elizabeth, you walk the halls of she who shadows your eyes, the Dark Mother herself, I be Eilantha Teveri, a pleasure to make your acquittance,"
Her words were lilting, welcoming. Hushai, however, was not in the least impressed. Not at Elizabeth, but at his Mistress.
"Oh, forgive me my rudeness, this is Hushai, a Zebral Griffon,"
She covered her mistake quickly and was thanked with a nudge in the small of her back by a beaked-head. Hushai had become a very vain beast after years of being fawned over, if her met any other of his kind they'd be ashamed of him.
Now, childish things aside, Eilantha gazed over the woman before her. For all the scars and lack of one eye, she was a very attractive woman. Deciding that her face was better unveiled, Eilantha raised her hand to her black hood and flipped it back over her fire-red locks. A smile playing on her lips as she waited for a reaction.

"Oh, and to you, Sir Hushai." Elizabeth politely bowed for the beast with nothing but respect for the creature. After all, what you do not know can probably rip your head right from your shoulders and Elizabeth was rather content with where it sat. In retrospect, Elizabeth wondered if she guessed the beast’s gender correctly. “Hushai” didn’t seem like any woman’s name she had ever heard, but that meant nothing in the world of myth and lore.
“Oh, Lady Teveri, there is no need to be so formal as to call me ‘dear.’ I would be most content if you were to call me ‘Eli’ as most do,” Elizabeth laughed rather full of the whole situation. Accidents never happen, after all, and Elizabeth made mental note to make good with Banur later about all of this.
The Lady Teveri had an interesting air about her. Something thoughtful, and something that she got off of others who completely dedicated themselves. Elizabeth’s all too pleasant smile warmed a bit basking in such a feeling and she brought a hand up to her scarf to fondle it out of habit. After all, Elizabeth was only human and had human habits and quirks.
Then, the Lady Teveri removed her hood. And the healthy glow about Elizabeth turned bright red in a somewhat lusty human feeling. One could say it was both pleasant and unpleasant at the same time, and it was all flattering just to be around it. Such—such a beautiful woman! Elizabeth straightened slightly, and fought the impure urges to kidnap the lady and take her away.
“My goodness,” Elizabeth laughed in a way that combined nervousness and relief, if one could imagine such a thing, and pressed a gauntlet covered hand to her forehead “you must forgive me, you are so stunning I am forgetting my self-control training. As of the moment I wish to take you away and make you mine.”
Ah, brutally honest as always.

Eilantha listened to the words carefully. She could have hit herself for allowing the blooming of red that seeped up from the collar of her robe, up to her face. Eilantha had not blushed for close to a decade, and the fact that a passing woman could make that happen was indeed mystifying.
"Well you do seem to have a strange effect on people,"
The words were a statement, whispered from between clenched teeth, for Eilantha knew that if she spoke clearly her voice would be husky with, would she dare admit it? But husky with sudden lust for this strange woman that in any other circumstances would probably not have second glanced at.
"You must forgive me my reddening, these robe are quite heat absorbing,"
Of course she had to make some excuse for the continuing heating and reddening of her throat and the rosy complexion that had appear on her face.

Oh dear, what was this that was making Elizabeth hungry? She laughed a bit longer, pressing her hand harder upon her forehead to keep from doing anything. Pain is the source for thought sometimes, Eli, have good memory that you are an example to those around you. You are a stunning example, in fact, you’re accepted by the gods. Elizabeth flashed another charismatic smile.
“I am often told such things,” She replied putting a hand at the back of her neck now, “it is usually followed by a polite request not to return, as I am making husbands very nervous.”
The girl seemed flustered and Elizabeth bit her tongue, fighting the compulsion to say something about it. Come on, that’s incredibly rude. However, rude was always something Elizabeth was known for. Along with being ungratefully honest. Her lip twitched as she remained silent waiting for something, for the love of all that was righteous, to make her have something else to say. Then, the lady mentioned something about the robes being hot. And, inwardly, Elizabeth heaved a sigh of relief knowing that she can speak a “truth” about that that did not pertain to the “truth that was.”
“Oh yes,” Elizabeth replied happily but considerably less vigorous, perhaps due to the fact that she would say something ill advised if she got too excited, “that’s why I don’t wear them anymore. Banur does not much care for this attire, but he says it will have to do, for robes would sooner cause my death.”
She nodded a light pinkish tone to her healthy skin. Truth, truth. It was all truths but not uncovering her falsehood, which was what Elizabeth would normally jump to in any regular situation. After all, this young woman seemed to have a certain pride that Elizabeth wished no part of breaking.
“Are you headed to the market place?” Elizabeth changed the subject quickly, avoiding rudeness as quickly as possible, “I need to do some shopping myself, would it be alright if I accompanied such—“ Eli’s smile grew somewhat wolfish as she lost track of her tongue, “—such a beautiful lady as yourself?”

Eilantha's teeth began to grind together silently. Was it such a sin to have such... Ill fated thought about a woman? It wasn't unknown that woman here sometimes took partners from within their gender until they found their chosen male, or in some cases; female. Eilantha found her thinking these things and a slight line of sweat formed itself on her brown.
"Of course you can accompany,"
Her smile was intoxicating, and on a sudden impulse she stepped up to Eli of an intention to give her a hug for brightening, and probably ruining, her day.
"It has been a blessing to meet you here today,"
The words were soft, rolling from her tongue in a senuous lilt. If Eli could not read the signs now, she never would.

Oh, but Elizabeth could read between the lines. Such things were, of course, pertaining to her sense of perception. But things were as they were, and Elizabeth couldn’t help but feel the honest compulsions of her muscles fighting the all too logical train of thought in her mind. Best said, Elizabeth was fighting herself on what to do next. There was, of course, what the guardian Ashforge wanted to do, the human Elizabeth wanted to do and the lusty scoundrel Eli intended to do.
Then Eilantha took a step forward, and all three of what made Elizabeth knew what to do.
Elizabeth had a fluid like movement to it, one that was all too familiar with the motions and the speeds to take at it. Elizabeth demonstrated a sensual, and probably risky, grasp onto Eilantha’s waist as she took her step forward. It was all in motion as Elizabeth drew her closer then lifted her from the ground and began walking away with this girl who dared tempt with the heart of someone all too mortal. Out of sheer kindness, Elizabeth attempted to balance Eilantha upon the softer parts of her forearm muscle, keeping her feet above the ground if at all possible.
“Tempting me, tempting me,” Elizabeth replied, her voice lofty and oh-so amused, “any more of this and I will steal you away, forgetting to do my shopping and my obligation to Banur. In fact, as I hold onto you now, it’s most difficult not to run and never return.”
Elizabeth flashed a mischievous smile and refrained from letting Eilantha down as she continued walking towards the market place.

Eilantha had never fancied herself, in all her years, the giggling type. Then again, Eilantha had never had reason to giggle. But... She'd never been swept of her feet, literally, by the likes of Elizebeth.
"Perhaps you'd like to accompany myself to my chambers tonight, we shall dine together,"
Emphasis on the word /dine/ seemed to suggest much more interesting plans. Eilantha had never been a flirt, either, but yet again she'd never come face to face with the likes of Elizabeth. When she found herself hoisted into the air she let out a girlish shriek and kicked her legs slightly to get her balance; though she was sure Eli wouldn't let her fall.

The giggling and the kicking was probably gathering some looks by a few solemn black clad holy folk nearby, as if it were not odd enough that one of Banur’s queerest (excuse the pun) had come wandering in on a supposed whim. Understandably, seeing someone so happy, it was hard to stay mad at either of them. Elizabeth’s contented grin stayed on her lips as she found it easier to balance Eilantha on the steel shoulder plate of her right arm.
However, to keep her there, Elizabeth had to correct her posture. Goodness, how she had forgotten how you were supposed to stand. Straightening her posture seemed to have made her walk a bit too proudly, with a bit of a masculine swagger. But, she kept a good hold on Eilantha while she was upon her shoulder. And the plate probably made an okay spot to sit on, despite the awkward carvings into it from enemy blades.
Elizabeth had taken a few steps into the market place, letting a bit of the noise make a decent mask of her words,
“My, my, such a bold request. That sounds wonderful to me, but shouldn’t a lady like yourself have some forethought?” Elizabeth replied at a steady moderate tone, “you invite a wolf to tend to your sheep; certainly, no good shall come from me dining with you. I may end up dining upon you.”
Elizabeth couldn’t say it if it weren’t true.

Oh how truthful she was. The words hadn't cause Eilantha any misgivings, oh no, the heat that had suddenly burst between her thighs was answer enough to how those words effected her.
"Perhaps my sheep are but wolves in disguise and need no tending, so the head sheep, head wolf, may just choose to toy with the imposing one,"
The words were sensual, flowing from her mouth like water into the ocean. Oh miss Eilantha knew exactly what she wanted now, and any previous mis-thoughts she'd had were banished to the back of her mind. Why give up now?
Leaning precariously down from her perch on the shoulder plate, Eilantha's lips made a B-line for the neck of Elizabeth, intending to plant a kiss there that would perhaps stop Eli from thinking that Eilantha was stalling.

If it were up to the scoundrel inside Eli’s head, the clothes would’ve been gone and any purity with it. At this point, the guardian Ashforge had decided to rope the beast which had its body already on fire. Though, even the guardian was the same person, and the tips of Elizabeth’s ears burned an embarrassing red. Without fighting the priestess stationed on her shoulder, Elizabeth took slow steady breaths.
After all, you were in public right now. Such mortal, impure feelings—they were saved for private where you could wash the sin later. You cannot wash sin from others eyes, you know. There was no falter in her step, nor change in her posture. But anyone caring to pay attention could feel the insatiable hunger that emanated from Elizabeth. And anyone with a lick of common sense could feel something outright different from her.
“Eli!” A man behind the counter of a wooden stall boomed with a grisly delight, “Don’t you have any shame? You’ll make girls bite their tongues off in jealousy carrying around that priestess.”
“Now, now,” Elizabeth laughed, “I’m just here on temple business.”
“Pah!” The man scoffed, “you were taking so long, another fellow came by to deliver the food. Said you got lost but you were honest so you’d bring the money.”
“Oh dear, they’ve got me pinned there!” Elizabeth replied cheerily removing a heavy looking burlap bag from her belt and tossed it onto the counter, “there should be extra there for your troubles, sir.”
With that Elizabeth turned back into the crowd, once again letting noise and bustle overtake the dynamics of her voice, “if that’s the case, my lady, we shall dine. It would be a shame to let you take care of that heat I am perceiving from you yourself.”

Eilantha's fine skin, usually ivory white, suddenly turned blazing red. She hadn't been fully paying attention when the female had spoken with the shop-keeper, but she'd heard clear enough the words that had been spoken to her.
The warm, sticky wetness that clung in her genitalia was discomforting when she had nothing to use it for.
"This shopping business is already tiring,"
She tried to cover up her embarrassment, hoping that her underclothing would not become to moist. She'd never been like this in a public place and though she'd rather die then admit it, she was slightly embarrassed with her body. She'd much rather be in a private room doing rather interesting things to her one-eyed friend.
She glanced around the market place, taking in things as they were, You children ran scattered everywhere and gentlemen hauled at a rope attached to a ship in order to pull it into a safe harbouring position.

“Oh,” Elizabeth’s eyes flashed dangerously, “then you wish to be somewhere private, then? I would arrange it now, but ah—“ Elizabeth grinned, “—it would be more pleasing to me to hear you ask for it.”
Honestly, Elizabeth was getting rather heated herself. How long had it been since she’d allow herself sexual desire to be satisfied by hands other than her own? In her training, she had been taught to take care of such useless desires in secret by oneself so that it would not get in the way of duty. But, when Banur wanted his duty done, he called upon her now.
And the Temple, well, they didn’t really like having Elizabeth around unless they felt threatened by something. But she had clung to old ways by now, practicing an unnecessary celibacy that went against her nature more than went for it. She hadn’t forgotten the last time she was with a woman, though, it was just something hadn’t done in some time.
Good lord in heaven, Elizabeth knew she perceived this hunger from the priestess, but she hoped she was not wrong about this sense. After all, it would make for some painful punishments and labors later if she were wrong.
“I can keep you up there all day,” Elizabeth continued after some time, “wander around and do nothing all day. But if you ask for it, we can do something else.”
Beg for it.

Eilantha grinned in her mind. This was panning together better then expected.
"Oh, well I must simply beg that we retire to my quarters, I have a rather magnificent king sized bed and only one occupant has slept in it for so long,"
{Though I doubt I will get any sleep} The words and the thoughts just caused her to go hot under the collar. What ever she was getting herself into would full entirely upon her own neck it if went wrong.
She thought about this for a moment. The temple of the Great Dark Mother was known for its frivolous behaviour, many same-sex marriagements had been formed in this particular temple. There was no shame back there if you walk around with a woman. It was more shameful to walk about with a man.
Sighing slightly to herself she leant down precariously again. Her hand keeping her balanced by the upside down way it was placed against her chest.
"Please,"
The words were a whisper of hot breathe as she fluttered her adorable eyes at Eli.
